Samsung's NX300 next gen camera

Samsung's NX300 makes an appearance on the company's offical website

Samsung’s NX300 camera, which was announced earlier this year, has now made an appearance on the company’s official India site. The camera was first spotted on the website by BGR, and the price revealed of the base kit with a single 18-55mm lens is Rs 48,900.

The smart Mode on the camera allows users to toggle between 14 different settings, which include Creative Shot, Landscape, Light Trace or Action Freeze. The latter allows users to automatically adjust parameters such as aperture and shutter speed.

The hybrid autofocus system that the camera comes with combines contrast AF with phase detection AF to allow for bettering focusing capabilities. And that is not all that the camera comes with. The NX300 comes with a DRIMe IV imaging engine that gives the camera the capability of not just continuously shooting 9 frames per second, but also supporting 1080/60p video capture.

The camera also supports enhanced dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, which allows users to connect a smartphone to the camera using Samsung’s Smart Camera App.
